Flexible Flatfoot Correction Using a HyProCure® Sinus Tarsi Stent

The patient demonstrated symptomatic flexible pes planovalgus with talar plantarflexion, excessive hindfoot eversion and partial uncovering of the talar head by the navicular. Weight-bearing radiographs showed loss of the medial longitudinal arch and an abnormal Meary’s angle on the untreated side. The previously operated right foot provided a direct comparison, demonstrating maintained arch correction, improved talonavicular coverage and satisfactory stent position. The procedure was considered appropriate because the deformity remained flexible and could be corrected manually with repositioning of the foot.
